Afroz Nama and Neha Mankani two Pakistani women have been included among the list of 100 most influential women in the world by British Broadcasting Corporation.

Resources revealed that Afroz Nama belongs to Shamshal Valley and from last three decades she has been grazing sheep and pets in Shamshal Valley. Tradition of herding is dying in this particular area and every year shepherds have to take their animals 4800 feet above sea level pastures. 

Afroz Nama used her income from this herding for betterment of child education which is remarkable. Media reports revealed Afroz Nama was the first lady in Valley to have a pair of shoes.

Neha Mankani the second Pakistani woman in 100 most influential women in British broadcasting corporation who travelled a lot to help the flood affected people during last year.

 According to reports Neha and her team utilized the aid and helped more than 15,000 flood affected families and individuals. She also provided life saving kits and medication which is phenomenal.

This list also includes former US first lady Michelle Obama and human rights lawyer Emily Clooney.
